Here the posting piggies have been hard at it (left). Showing a selection of the daily output, these cakes are destined for the more discerning cognoscenti around the globe. Securely packaged in recycled brown wrapping paper and tastefully labelled - a gift to behold! (Or eaten)!

Our Appleby Dundee Cakes.
These cakes are rich, moist and fruity with a truly amazing, traditional old fashioned flavour that develops wonderfully as the cake matures. Containing as they do only the finest of ingredients: Butter, sugar, flour, sultanas, raisins, currants, ground almonds, cherries, mixed peel, eggs laid by our own free range hens, lemons, secret spices, ground almonds and sherry and more than a little touch of extra special Piggy magic! We only use whole Almonds and halved Glace Cherries to decorate the tops. The wonderful flavour of the cakes evolves naturally without the need for artificial anything!
Our cakes make super gifts for unsuspecting friends!!

We test the calibration of our scales rigorously. This one measures 1 Texel
on the piglet scale!

Our Speciality Simnel Cake.
Based on the same wonderful traditional family recipe as our Appleby Dundee Cakes, the Simnel Cake is topped with a luxuriantly thick layer of home made marzipan (not to be confused with the supermarket Plasticine version!), which is lightly fixed to the cake with our very own home made Appleby Jam.
The cake is then decorated with eleven marzipan balls, symbolic of the Apostles and is finished with a deft blast from the chefs blow torch!
A beautiful wide yellow ribbon and attractive packaging completes the festive presentation.
