You may be forgiven for thinking that Marigold, pictured top right enjoying a cuddle with her Daddy, is nothing more than a soft bundle of fuzzy, sweetly behaved, joy . . . . you would be wrong! The Manufactory has been in turmoil since her arrival a few hectic weeks ago. Well established routines have been ignored, piggy sleeping places re arranged, and human food providers put firmly in their places. A cheekier, more personality packed piggy we have never known! She may be very small and very new, but Marigold certainly knows exactly what she wants and makes her requirements very clear; and woe betide anyone who doesn’t cater for her escalating demands, immediately!
Matilda has had her work cut out in her attempts to instill in Marigold the wisdom and philosophy of the Manufactory, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish teacher from pupil!

It was clear from day 1 that this confident little piglet was at her very happiest when romping in the garden. She likes nothing more than zipping and zooming around their purpose built enclosure on the lawn at hither to undreamt of speeds. Whizzing through tunnels, under sacking and over poor Matilda. She loves examining flowers at close quarters too - especially those super bright orange Marigolds of course! (How clever of those nice botanical boffin's to anticipation her arrival!). Best of all, she found that you can actually eat the flooring!

Posing her for her inaugural photos proved a major difficulty, not only had the shutter speed of the camera to be set at its highest possible setting, there is actually very little on fuzzy little Marigold that it is possible to focus on!

It is most encouraging however, that initial indications confirm without any possibility of doubt, that Marigold is exhibiting all the incontrovertible signs of being ‘inordinately fond of her food’!
